There will be drive-through Communion today at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grove City from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. The address is 3220 Columbus Street, Grove City, OH 43123.
This Sunday, May 31, we’ll be accepting donations for the Grove City Food Pantry during drive-through communion from 10:30-11:30 AM. Just bring your donations and drop them off at the designated spot in the line as you drive through. Someone from church will be there to help you. Click here to see the post for more information. Celebrating Students!
This Sunday is the last week to turn in greeting cards for our students. Just to remind you, we plan to honor and celebrate all of our 120 students here at St. John’s. Our students have worked hard, risen to the challenge of virtual learning, and been remarkable! So, we would like to tell them “Great job! Way to go! Congratulations! Wow, you’re amazing! You did it!”
To do that, we need you! Please consider writing notes of celebration (feel free to add your favorite bible verse) to seven students:
· 2 for grades K – 4
· 2 for grades 5 – 8
· 2 for grades 9 – 11
· 1 for a graduating senior
We will be collecting these at drive through-communion on Sunday from 10:30-11:30 AM. Please mark each note with the appropriate grades and simply drop them in the box as you pass by. If you would like to write a note to a specific student in your faith web or a specific graduating senior, just be sure to put his or her name on the envelope.
