German Heritage Weekend

When: September 7th & 8th

On the weekend of September 7-8, as part of our 175th Anniversary celebration, we will be lifting up St. John’s German heritage by altering our traditional worship services to closely follow the order of Luther’s Mass. We’ll also be singing German hymns and hearing a little bit (nur ein kleines bisschen) of German spoken in our worship services that weekend.
Come and enjoy a special weekend of worship and praise! You’ll experience first-hand the small but very interesting differences between Luther’s original order of worship and the one we typically follow today.
