Sunday, June 9th is our annual Suitcase Sunday for Missions. As you know, prices continue to rise and sending the arms and feet of Jesus around the world has become expensive. To aid us in this effort, we are asking that you prayerfully consider helping us in one or more of many ways, such as:
- Pray, pray, and pray some more!
- Purchase Walmart gift cards (which can also benefit the youth program through Scrip!) that can be used to purchase VBS supplies and gifts for the children.
- Drop some change, a dollar, or more in the suitcase to offset the price of the mission.
- Consider helping to sponsor one of the missionaries through a check made out to St. John’s with “Mexico” or “General Missions” in the memo line. These can be dropped in the suitcase or in the offering plate at any time.
- Oh yes, and pray, pray, pray!
