During our Annual Meeting on January 24, a motion was brought forth by Scott Hirth regarding the renovations that were approved for the sanctuary.
The motion reads: “I move that the congregation of St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church rescind approval of removal of all the choir loft pews and choir rail, understanding that some of the pews will have to be taken back out for the organ console to be put back into the choir loft. All other portions of the prior motion would remain in effect.”
After a lengthy discussion regarding this motion and parliamentary procedure, a special meeting has been called to discuss and vote on this motion. That meeting will take place on February 14, 2016 at 9:30. Please join us for this important meeting.
