IN-GATHERING OF FOOD – November is the month that St. John’s is responsible for the in-gathering of food for our local food pantries. This goes back to our rural roots and the in-gathering of the harvest. Our ancestors brought some of their produce to church to share with those in need. We invite you to bring food items to one of the worship services now through Thanksgiving weekend. It’s not about guilt or about feeling like “you have to give.”  Rather – it’s about the love of Jesus Christ overflowing out of us.  That when we see our neighbor’s stomach hurting, our heart hurts.  Please share your blessing with those in need.
