As our Lenten journey together concludes. In Matthew 4, we read that Jesus needed time in the wilderness. So too did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, David, Jonah, the people of Israel, Paul, and John the Baptist. God’s principle shows us: “Before we go out, we must come in.” Come wander together with us, shouting Hosanna! Instead of murmurs that lead to crucifixion, may we instead be found saying “to whom shall we go, You have the words of eternal life.”
