DESCRIPTION:QUARTERLY CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – OCTOBER 13TH \nMeeting will be Sunday\, October 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We are trying to find a time that will be as accommodating to as many people as possible. \nWe ask that Adult Sunday School classes join us at 9:30\, then proceed to class at the conclusion of the meeting.\nSince we only have Quarterly meetings four times a year we appreciate your flexibility with this newly scheduled time.\nThis allows us to have one meeting and to conduct any written votes that might be necessary during that time.\nThere will be a member of the Executive Team present after the 4:00 service on Saturday\, October 12 for questions and comments. \nPlease plan to attend.

SUMMARY:St. John's 175TH Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:St. John’s 175th Anniversary Rededication Service and Dinner\nReformation Sunday\, October 27th\, will be a very special day at St. John’s!\nPlease note that there will be only one worship service that weekend: 11:00 on Sunday in the Main Sanctuary. \nThe Reverend Doctor Amy Little\, General Secretary of the North American Lutheran Church\, will be our guest preacher that day. We’ll have a children’s message\, children’s\nchurch\, and a beautiful mix of music during the worship service\, including a special large choir piece\, instrumentalists\, and some contemporary songs alongside our traditional\nhymns. During worship\, we will also rededicate our congregation to Christ’s mission. \nWeather permitting\, after worship\, everyone will be encouraged to come to the south lawn (outside the main entrance on the Columbus Street side) for a 175th Anniversary\ngroup picture. In case of rain\, we’ll move the picture-taking to the Family Life Center. \nAfter the picture\, please come to the Family Life Center for a delicious dinner and some special presentations. \nIt’s going to be a beautiful day of celebration and thanksgiving to God for the blessings he has poured out upon our congregation these past 175 years.\nWe hope you and your family can come! \nPlease indicate the number of people in your family who will be attending the dinner in the salmon sheets in the bulletins before October 20th!
