This Weeks Teaching

Here Jeremiah points ahead to the hope of Jesus. When we are ready to give up; when the Lord is at His wits end; when sorrow and unfaithfulness reign; when we ask if there will ever be a soothing peace to the agitation–as the hymn suggest, There is a Balm in Gilead. His name is Jesus. I mourn, and horror grips me.
22 Is there no balm in Gilead?
Is there no physician there?
Why then is there no healing
for the wound of my people?
9:1 Oh, that my head were a spring of water
and my eyes a fountain of tears!
I would weep day and night

Join us for CITW, a communal bible study where we learn together what it means to live our faith. Each week we’ll release a lesson, accompanied scripture.
