QUESTION: What is the 500th Anniversary Celebration of the Reformation?

ANSWER: Reformation Jeopardy hosted by Martin Luther!

We will be celebrating the 500 Anniversary of the Reformation on Reformation Sunday, October 29, 2017 immediately following the late service in the Family Life Center. We will be sharing lunch together, then the children will move onto interactive and fun activities to help them learn more about the Reformation and Martin Luther. The PEACE Puppets will also make a special appearance during the children’s program. The adults will be playing some fast rounds of trivia on the Reformation and Martin Luther to decide who will be our three challengers in our game of Reformation Jeopardy-Hosted by Martin Luther himself. Prizes will be awarded!

We will be selling indulgences for the sin of gluttony (your lunch ticket) every Sunday after church between October 1 and October 22. Indulgences may also be purchased from the church office prior to the event. Lunch options will be pork chops or bratwurst (hot dogs are offered for children) with sauerkraut, potatoes and green beans. There will also be cream puffs and cake for dessert. Please make sure you let us know your meat selection for lunch when you purchase your Indulgence so we can order accordingly. The cost of this event will be $3.00 per person but the amount of fun you will have is priceless!

PLEASE NOTE: This year the Reformation Celebration will be held in lieu of Fall Fam- ily Fun Night.  Encounter (10.45 am Contemporary Worship) will not be held on October 29th.  All other worship services remain as regularly scheduled.
