"Make a Joyful Noise to the LORD, all the earth" ~ Psalm 100:1

"Make a Joyful Noise to the LORD, all the earth" ~ Psalm 100:1

Martin Luther once said that, "Music is an endowment and a gift of God... Music reigns in times of peace."  Music is a sacred gift that grabs hold of our souls.  The music life at St. John's depicts this reality.  We embrace music as a means to connecting with Almighty God.  Our music ministry is diverse.  The pipes of an organ, the strum of a guitar, the ringing of bells all enhance our worship life.  But we also cling to that beautiful psalm that reminds us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.  May our music always be joyful praise as we worship the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Contemporary Bands

Music is central to our worship in the 10:45 Contemporary worship.  We sing songs of praise and worship that draw from our hearts and dive deep into our souls as Christians.  The music leadership of this worship is a vital part of life at St. John's.  It is the Holy Spirit that stirs within us and calls us into action in our lives.  And it is the Holy Spirit who has gifted our bands with the skills to lead our worship.  If you, too, have the Holy Spirit given talent for music, singing or instrumental, we have a spot for you to help lead others in worship.  Please contact the church office if you are interested.
