Philippians 1:9
And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight…
Love overflowing is out goal—to be so filled with the love of Christ that it pours out onto others. And this isn’t a selfish love or a self-serving love—which in fact is not love at all—the love we are to have for others is fully formed by knowledge and insight. Isn’t that what God’s love is like? He fully knows us and He loves us still. How will you grow in love today?
Prayer: Christ Jesus, fill me with your love so that I might love others. Amen.
